20" (51 cm.) l. 8"h. Of light wood with black lacquered finish that is richly ornamented with gilt designs, is a sedan chair with large compartment which accesses by a sliding door, attached carrying handle, and with two display posts designed to support the rods of display flags. Still tied into original wooden box, presented on red fabric covered base. Excellent condition. Japanese, Showa era.
