13" (33 cm.) Bisque socket head, tiny blue glass sleep eyes, fringed upper lashes, one-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth modeled as though open with well-defined space between the shaded lips, blonde human hair, composition five-piece toddler body, well costumed. Marks: 1428. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1912. Value Points: outstanding sculpting especially around the eyes and mouth, very fine quality of bisque.
