28" (71 cm.) Thick paste porcelain shoulder head with plump facial shape, sculpted short black curly hair with wide center part and deeply defined scalloped-edge curls, brown glass inset eyes, red upper eyeliner, painted all-around lashes, brush-stroked brows, circle accents at nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line between the very full lips, old muslin stitch-jointed body with leather arms, fine antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1860. Value Points: rarity factors include grand size, brown glass eyes, well-defined coiffure.
