Carved wooden head with slender face, gofun finish, glass inset eyes, open mouth, teeth, painted features, painted feathered detail of hair around the face and also at the nape of neck, black silk fiber hair with fawn spot, red silk crepe hair bows, and wearing a bronze silk patterned kimono with red silk lining, brown collar and sleeve edging, and gold brocade obi, Posed on original wooden stand. Generally excellent. Showa era, circa 1930s.
