4" (10 cm.) x 4 1/2" sketch, 10" screen. Including a delicate pencil sketch of the famed Danish fairy tale author, Hans Christian Anderson, seated at his table reading a book, signed J.J., mid-19th-century. Along with a partial panel screen with leather edging decorated with paper panels signifying the important persons and events in the life of Anderson, mid-1900s.
