Bisque socket head, large amber brown glass paperweight inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, incised eyeliner, brushstroked brows with feathering and decorative glaze, rose blushed eye shadow, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth, shaded and outlined lips, heart-shaped upper lip, deeply-impressed chin and philtrum dimples, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: R 5 D. Comments: Rabery and Delphieu, circa 1886. Value Points: grand size with dramatic large brown eyes, choice bisque and painting, original body and body finish, and wearing antique costume comprising green velvet pants, black velvet vest and jacket with soutache embroidery and silk buttons, lace jabot, black felt top hat, stockings, shoes, and with ebony and bone-tipped walking stick.
