31" (79 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, painted curly lashes, dark eyeliner, modeled brows with comb-marked detail, rounded nose with accented nostrils, open mouth, outlined lips, prominent accent dot on center bottom lip, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, beautiful antique costume of white pique with cutwork and embroidery, undergarments, black leather shoes, woven bonnet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: S&H 1279 dep Germany 14 1/2. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1912. Value Points: rare model with superb detail of modeling highlighted by impressed dimples in cheeks and chin and accent dot in center bottom lip, original body and body finish.
