Bisque socket head, brown glass paperweight inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner, painted lashes, rose blushed eyeshadow, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, pierced ears, brunette hand-tied human hair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists. Condition: generally excellent, original body and body finish. Marks: Depose Tete Jumeau Bte SGDG 9 (head, and artist checkmarks) Jumeau Medaille d'Or paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1888. Value Points: luminous deep brown eyes are enhanced by rich eyeshadow, glazed highlights on lips, wearing antique red sateen frock with Belgian lace collar over original Jumeau chemise, undergarments, original Jumeau leather shoes with silk bows signed Paris Depose 9 and with bee symbol.
