9" (23 cm.) All-bisque doll with swivel head, brown glass eyes, painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, slightly-parted lips, four porcelain teeth, brunette human hair braids, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs, painted black thigh-high stockings, brown two-strap shoes with sculpted bows. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 4 886. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1890. Value Points: beautiful "black-stocking" girl in rare size is wearing wonderful original rose cotton dress with lace trim.
