Pale bisque swivel head with flat-cut neck socket that attaches to original shoulder plate in a manner to allow the head to turn side-to-side only (rather than 365 degree swivel),cobalt blue glass inset eyes,dark eyeliner,painted lashes,feathered brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with center accent line,un-pierced ears,blonde mohair wig over cork pate,French kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at elbows,hips and knees,stitched and separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: E 3 Depose B. Comments: Eugene Constant Barrois,circa 1860. Value Points: beautiful pale bisque contrasts with the dramatic blue eyes,rare neck articulation,very sturdy original body and fine antique silk dress with velvet and lace trim,undergarments,shoes,bonnet.
