34" (86 cm.) Pink-tinted bisque shoulderhead with solid dome, sculpted and painted short blonde boyish hair with forelock curl, deeply-intaglio blue sculpted eyes with white eyedots, shaded nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with downcast shaded lips, well-defined ears, kid pin-jointed body, composition and wooden ball-jointed arms, antique sailor costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 14 Germany Heubach (in square) 6688. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912. Value Points: rare large size of the wistful faced child with exemplary bisque and painting.
