20" (51 cm.) Bisque shoulder head with blonde sculpted hair waved loosely from her face and captured in a wide loop at the back held by a wide black hair band, with two drilled holes at the crown for insertion of alien hair ornament, fully sculpted pierced ears, blue glass inset eyes, pronounced black eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, sculpted white loosely draped shawl with scalloped edging at the bodice, muslin stitch-jointed body, leather arms, lovely antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: attributed to Alt, Beck and Gottschalk, circa 1870. Value Points: rarity factors include distinctive coiffure, glass eyes and fancy bodice.
