16" (41 cm.) Arranged upon a stage-like setting with hand-painted mountain background scene and paper mache ground cover, are six bisque head dolls with blue glass eyes, painted features, blonde mohair wig, wooden block torsos and lower limbs, and wearing original costumes. When the porcelain knob at the front is turned, music plays, and the dolls play their little instruments and dance about. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Zinner and Sohne, circa 1890. Value Points: the charming vignette is well-preserved, is especially luxurious with six dolls and fanciful background scene and accessories.
