Description
2 1/2" (6 cm.) h. knife box. Resting upon an oval double-handled tray is a tea service, comprising tea pot with hinged lid and warming stand, lidded pot for warm milk, sugar, creamer and two cups and saucers; the pots have carved bone handles, and each piece is marked sterling. Also included is a mahogany cutlery box with hinged lid and fruitwood inlay, which opens to reveal a six-person set of cutlery, comprising knives, forks and spoons. Excellent condition. 19th century.
