Description
7" (18 cm.) l. vitrine. 3"l, crown. The wooden-framed vitrine with red velvet cover is accented with gilt ormolu garlands, with side-glass windows and domed glass front, mirrored back; the interior fitted with tufted rose silk cushion upon which rests an ormolu gilt bird and brass crown with silver border and beading, ten colorful prismatic glass "jewels" in silver mounts. Excellent condition. Early 18th century.
