The wooden chaise a porteur has beveled glass windows at each side, and an opening door at the front with another beveled glass window and bronze knob, The roof is bombe shaped and arched, and has original bronze green painted finish with elaborate gold garlands and swirls that center delicate wild flowers at the sides, back and roof, and with a delightful scene of charming 18th century boy and girl playing Blind Man's Bluff game on the front door. Generally excellent. French, circa 1880.
