15" (38 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass enamel inset eyes, dark eyeliner, lightly-feathered brows and lashes, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with accented lips, ears pierced into head, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French stretched-kid-over wooden body, with metal-hinge hip jointing covered by kid "baggy" upper legs, metal upper arms, bisque forearms, jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips and knees. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, circa 1867, with deposed body by Cruchet. Value Points: very beautiful delicate expression and bisque, rare body style, perfect bisque hands.
