20" (51 cm.) Gofun-finished complexion on swivel head, crepe-wrapped upper limbs, mache torso and lower limbs, enamel inset eyes, black shaded brows, closed mouth, black human hair in bob with bangs. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Japan, Ichimatsu child doll, early/mid 1900s. Value Points: well-preserved condition and very expressive facial features, , wearing padded multi-layered padded kimono shaded pink to pale yellow with printed and painted flowers, gilt outline, and red embroidered tassels and tops, obi, slippers.
