Bisque socket head, very large brown glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, arched feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners closed mouth with pale accented lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully jointed body with straight wrists, beautiful antique costume with lace detailing, undergarments, matching bonnet, leather shoes with rosettes, knit socks. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: M 3 B. Comments: Mothereau, circa 1885, the bebes of this firm, notable for their dramatic eyes, are very rare especially in this petite size. Value Points: very beautiful bebe with lovely bisque and painting to accentuate her eyes.
