Honey-toned poured wax portrait lady doll with oval face and elongated throat, sculpted hair drawn from her face and captured at the crown with decorative feathers, modeled bosom, tiny black glass bead eyes, tinted brows, highly-defined close, closed mouth, wrapped armature body, wax lower limbs, attached to metal frame. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: early 1800s. Value Points: splendid portrait doll with highly-refined features, elegant pose, rare coiffure, original body, fine silk costume.
