12" (30 cm.) Bisque socket head, small blue glass sleep eyes, painted curly lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with downcast lips, blonde mohair bobbed wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing, wearing blue woolen sailor suit. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1488 Simon & Halbig 4. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1912. Value Points: appealing pensive character with choice bisque, toddler body with original finish, and in rare smaller size.
