Description
5" (13 cm.) x 5". The heavy card stock box with rose paper cover and gilt lettering on the lid, opens to reveal a well-fitted interior containing a small parlor game and nine individual tiny boxes once containing candies, each with a lithographed design of children at play. The interior of the lid bears the label of the renowned Parisian candy store Debauve & Gallais. Excellent condition except lacking tiny game beads. French, circa 1880.
