12" (30 cm.) Bisque socket head with slender elongated facial shape, painted grey outlined eyes, black upper eyeliner, single-stroke brows, accented nostrils of aquiline nose, closed mouth with very full lips in downcast pensive expression, brunette mohair bobbed wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, nice antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R 107 30. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1910, the model "Karl" from their art character series. Value Points: an especially handsome example of the rare doll with flawless bisque, unusually deeply impressed facial features especially for this diminutive size.
