10" (25 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, lightly-feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, brunette human hair, early composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body with straight wrists, pretty silk and lace dress and bonnet. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Sonneberg, circa 1882, the doll closely resembles the early French portrait bebes whose market it attempted to capture. Value Points: beautiful petite doll with lovely eyes, lovely bisque, original body and body finish.
