Description
11" (28 cm.) x 7". A heavy card stock box has removable lid, and the front hinges down to reveal a bed/sitting room, with lithographed paper "wood" floor and "carpets", papered walls with gilt paper edging. The room has attached lithographs of scenes with gilded paper frames, and is furnished with wooden furnishings having blue silk upholstery and gilt edging, comprising, day bed with canopy and lace curtains, pedestal table and six chairs, fireplace mantel with gilded metal clock, dressing table with attached mirror. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, circa 1890. Value Points: the diminutive little room with luxury furnishings is in fine unplayed with condition, its contents still tied into original arrangement.
