Description
For size 9 or 10 Bebe Jumeau. The coral silk jacket dress is constructed with elaborate lace flouncing at the center panel above a box-pleated triangle, with full box-pleated skirt and lappets at the sides and back, hook and eye back closure. Along with ruffled lace at the sleeves and all-around cording and soutache. Included is a matching bonnet with elaborate lace flounces at the back decorated by lace ruffles and green silk ribbons. Excellent condition. The workshops of Ernestine Jumeau introduced wonderful and new timely fashions for Bebe Jumeau each season, this dress and bonnet being an example. Circa 1886.
