Bisque socket head, blue/grey glass inset eyes with spiral threading, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, blonde mohair wig over plaster pate, composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists, antique black velvet Sunday best costume with lace collar, undergarments, socks, shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: X. Comments: Kestner, circa 1882. Value Points: very fine quality of bisque and painting, original body, body finish, and soft mohair wig.
