Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate,blue glass paperweight inset eyes with spiral threading,dark eyeliner,painted lashes and brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with outlined lips,pierced ears,auburn mohair wig over cork pate,French kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at elbows,hips and knees,stitched and separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 4 (head and shoulders). Comments: Jumeau,circa 1875. Value Points: especially beautiful face with dramatic eyes softened by gentle expression,wearing superb antique gown of cashmere wool with center panel of draped lace and aqua silk ribbons,with demi-train and lace hem ruffle,and with undergarments,cream kidskin boots,woven bonnet with aqua lining and matching draped lace,and folding fan.
