Description
Of indigo blue cotton with white polka dots, the floor-length gown features a flat front with rounded neckline and short sleeves, enhanced with Belgian lace collar, and at hem and sleeve edges, with ivory silk sash. Along with a white cotton bonnet with six-ribbed cap and having a wide box-pleated brim beneath an outer brim of narrow box-pleated broderie Anglaise, with satin ribbon bows. For 25" doll. 6" shoulder width. 20" overall. 9" width of bonnet. 4" inside head width. Circa 1880.
