5 1/2" (14 cm.) All-bisque figurine of Kewpie standing alongside an Art Nouveau bisque vase, holding a brown flocked-finish teddy bear in his arms, at which he is shyly side-glancing, the Kewpie with topknot and blue wings. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: c (in black stamp circle). Comments: Germany, from designs by Rose O'Neill, circa 1912. Value Points: rare action Kewpie with endearing expression.
