13" (33 cm.) All-wooden doll with one-piece egg-shaped head and torso with shapely front and flat back, brown enamel inset eyes, dot-painted lashes and brows, shaped nose, closed mouth with center thin line, blush spots on cheeks, brunette human hair, cloth arms, wooden legs with jointing at hips and knees. Condition: very good, original finish with some typical rubs, feet are replaced. Comments: England, end of 18th century. Value Points: charming facial expression with original painting, wearing early silk costume and bonnet.
