8" (20 cm.) l. Seated in a three-wheeled wooden cart with original painted finish with teal blue, gold and black is a paper mache child with sculpted blue cap decorated with white feather, painted facial features, wooden block torso, paper mache legs with bent knees for sitting, paper mache hands for clasping steering rods, original costume, and painted brown boots with gold buttons. Condition: generally excellent, complexion a bit faded. Comments: Germany, circa 1865. Value Points: delightful early bonnet head doll in playful original arrangement.
