Description
15" (38 cm.) l. x 10"h. x 12"d. Having bombe-shaped sides with fine rosewood veneers, the table-top cabinet rests upon elaborately carved bronzed legs, and is decorated with scroll and garland apron edging, and beaded trim around the top. The top has a beveled glass surface, which hinges open for access to the velvet-lined exhibition interior, with lock and key. French, circa 1860, of luxury quality and construction indicative of the fine Parisian Maison Giroux.
