Description
3" (8 cm.) Each is all-bisque figure of the popular storybook pup, Doodledog, posed on back haunches and with turned head, the white pup has brown shaded spots, painted side-glancing googly eyes, freckled whiskers, blue wings; one Doodledog is posed atop the lid of a rounded bisque jar. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: c (in black circle stamp). Comments: Germany, from designs by Rose O'Neill, circa 1910. Value Points: endearing Doodledog, presented here in two great variations.
