17" (43 cm.) All-cloth doll with pressed and oil-painted features, brown eyes, thick brown and black upper eyeliner, closed mouth with pouting expression, blonde human hair wig in bobbed style, stitch-jointing at shoulders, disc-jointed hips. Condition: very good, some light touch-up, small hole on right arm, body has some age darkening, wig not original. Marks: Kathe Kruse 85812 (?) (foot). Comments: Kathe Kruse, circa 1935, the second era of the Type I model. Value Points: neat girl with wistful expression, wonderful antique costume.
