21" (53 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass inset eyes, painted lower lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with very full lips in fretful expression, blonde mohair wig, French composition and wooden fully jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing, mariner costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: SFBJ 252 Paris 10. Comments: SFBJ, circa 1910. Value Points: fine gleaming patina of complexion enhances the pouting expression, original body and body finish, wonderful leather cap with gilt image of early aeroplane and label "Bleriot".
