13" (33 cm.) The simply-crafted wooden rocking chairs have die-cut backs and front "legs" which are covered with lithographed paper prints depicting an old man with top hat reading a book, and an old woman with ruffled cap and shawl, with knitting needles. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: American, circa 1885. Value Points: rare pair of chairs with great lithography, amusing details of people legs, are well-preserved.
