5" (13 cm.) Waist-up porcelain half-doll portraying 18th-century lady with head inclined and arms stretched very wide apart, painted brown hair beneath a bevy of colorful flowers attached to very long flowing streamers, Sevres-blue painted bodice with ruffled edging and three-tiered cuffs edged with gold beading, two gold bracelets on each arm. Marks: (N over crown blue stamp). Excellent condition. Germany, circa 1910, Aelteste Volkstedter Porzellanfabrick, rare model with exquisite detail of modeling and accessories.
