Description
9" (23 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features, blue upper-glancing eyes, painted upper lashes, brows, "O" shaped mouth with pink lower lip, jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Lenci (cloth label). Comments: Lenci, circa 1935. Value Points: the wide-eyed little girl is wearing colorful felt Dutch costume with appliques and stripes, and carrying felt tulip which matches the applique flowers on her cap and bodice.
