5 1/2" (14 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, almond-shaped blue glass eyes with spiral threading, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, aquiline nose with accent dots, closed mouth with upturned lip corners, pale accented lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: I (head and shoulders) Depose (forehead). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, his deposed poupee model, possibly inspired by the beloved Empress Eugenie, the model was registered in 1872. Value Points: sought-after model with beautiful bisque and expression, beautifully-accented lips with enigmatic smile.
