5" (13 cm.) l. All-bisque Kewpie with sculpted red-topped helmet having brown border trimmed with gilt garlands and star, is modeled as though emerging from the side of a decorated egg, with left foot emerging at one side, and toes of right foot emerging at the other, his right arm extended and head uplifted. With painted side-glancing googly eyes and blue wings. Excellent condition. Germany, circa 1915.
