Description
17" (42 cm.) Bisque socket head, small brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with downcast pouting lips, plump cheeks and double chin, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 115/A 42. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, the model marketed as "Phillip", circa 1912. Value Points: especially fine quality of sculpting with deeply defined character features, original bisque, original body and body finish.
