Description
8" (20 cm.) All-wooden gorilla, two-part head, swivel neck, pronounced forehead shape, painted brown eyes, leather ears, mouth carved open in roaring expression, two rows of teeth, jointing at shoulders and hips. Excellent condition. Comments: Schoenhut, 1909, very fine carving of the rare animal, with two-part head and leather ears, fine state of preservation.
