Description
9" (23 cm.) l. The Victorian style sleigh with elaborately scrolled sides and back has painted tin panels applied to the wooden frame on each side; the panels have garlands of flowers and cherubic angels at play. The interior and back panel have golden and brown velvet cover, and the sleigh bed rests on a gilted scrolled frame. Excellent condition except fabric very worn on seat back. French, circa 1885.
