6" (15 cm.) h. 9" l. The heavy paper stock two-drawer cabinet with bombe-shaped front and turtle-shaped top has bronze legs and pulls and is decorated by printed paper in the manner of Boulle inlay, with gilded edging. The cabinet was a special presentation in luxury Parisian candy shops, designed for later play use with fashion dolls or petite bebes. French, circa 1885.
