Bisque swivel head on kid-lined bisque shoulder plate,pale bisque complexion,sea-green enamel inset eyes with darker blue outer rims,eyeliner,painted lashes,brown feathered brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with shaded and outlined lips,slightly-upturned lip corners with hint of smile,auburn human hair over cork pate,French kid poupee body with shapely torso,gusset-jointing at elbows,hips and knees,stitched and separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 5 (head and shoulders). Comments: French,circa 1875,maker unknown. Value Points: most unusual and endearing expression with slightly-smiling expression,very rare bi-color eyes,fine antique costume comprising dotted Swiss gown with matching jacket,undergarments,aqua kidskin shoes signed E.Jumeau (one sole replaced),aqua silk and lace bonnet.
