Description
2" (5 cm.) One-piece bisque figure of Kewpie posed standing with right foot kicking outward, and a large champagne bottle held in his hand; the bottle has original slit for placement of place card. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: c (in black circle stamp). Comments: Germany, circa 1915, from a series of miniature Kewpies designed as place card holders for party tables. Value Points: an especially rare champagne bottle novelty Kewpie.
