12" (30 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, blue glass sleep eyes, painted lower lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, open mouth with four porcelain teeth, blonde mohair wig with long braids, original muslin stitch-jointed body, bisque forearms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1079 Halbig S&H Germany 2. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1900. Value Points: fine quality of bisque, luxurious original braided wig, multi-layered antique folklore costume.
