Description
24" (61 cm.) Felt swivel head with oval face and elongated throat, pressed and oil-painted facial features, brown side-glancing eyes, white eye dots, dark eye shadow, fringed lashes and high arched brows, closed mouth with accented lower lip, pale brunette mohair bobbed wig, elongated slender torso, jointed arms and legs. Condition: generally excellent, slight dustiness. Marks: Lenci (cloth tag). Comments: Lenci, model 174, circa 1924. Value Points: rare doll with fine original costume, brown fitted jacket, taupe pants, gloves, top hat, tie, shirt, spats, shoes, original walking stick and preserved in original Lenci box with 174 paper label on end.
