Description
4 1/2" (11 cm.) Each is all-bisque classic standing Kewpie with jointed arms, modeled topknot, side-glancing eyes, blue wings. Condition: generally excellent, tiny flake on foot of football Kewpie. Comments: Germany, circa 1915, from a rare series of originally-costumed Kewpies with crepe paper costumes. Value Points: included is Kewpie Football Player with helmet, Kewpie Nurse with cap and uniform, and Irish Kewpie with crepe paper umbrella and snake.
